TAB Tournament week is a BIG week for Twinsburg wrestling!!! Please make sure that your athlete is getting plenty of rest... proper hydration... Be sure avoid over-exertion injuries. Some wrestlers will have five to eight matches in that rigorous two day tournament. It is o.k. to allow your athlete's body a break, especially multiple sport athletes. A few days of recovery time is key so your athlete is at peak performance for the tournament.

Wrestling Wrap for 1/15 and 1/18... TAB Tournament... Remaining Matches...
West Geauga Tournament
The B Wrestling Team paricipated in the West Geauga Wrestling Tournament on 1/15. Although we were only allowed to place on entrant in per weight class, there were additional opportunities to move other wrestlnig into the tournament. The following wrestlers earned a placement: Cal Govang 7th, Jayson Flack 6th, Brandon Vinas 8th, Phil Switz 3rd, Jayson Flask 1st, and Glenn Taylor 4th.
The Team finished in the top six out of ten other A teams. Congratulations B team to a great effort.
Uniontown Tournament
The A Team finished a strong fifth at the Uniontown Tournament in spite of three injuries in the line-up. Luke DiMuzio placed 6th, Anthony Aksins 1st, Jacob Fink 4th, Eric Murdock 1st, Noah Edwards 5th, Darius Jones 3rd, and Trevor Bruce 3rd.
Tigers beat Nordonia and Ravenna
The Tiger wrestling team defeated Nordonia 44 to 37 and Ravenna 50-21. Winning matches for the Tigers were Luke DiMuzio, Anthony Askins, Paul Horvath, Jake Fink, Ben Forestner, Derrik Crosby, Eric Murdock, Noah Edwards, Darius Jones, Trevor Bruce, and Kevin Estep.
In B team action matches were won by Ethan Malencheck, Justin Kimble, Seth Richner, Jeremy Snell, Vince Jaskewicz, Jayson Flask, and Glenn Taylor.
